If you’re looking for boxing shoes with great value from a trusted brand, this pair is a top option.
At first, we were concerned that the vinyl leather material would make the shoes too rigid, but we were glad to see that this wasn’t the case. Combined with the nylon mesh, these shoes ended up feeling cool and comfortable even after long jump rope sessions.
The rubber sole provided maximum traction in the ring, while allowing us to get out of danger without slipping or tripping. We prefer to sit on our punches, so we were glad that these shoes weren’t too light.
One thing to keep in mind is that these shoes don’t have dedicated ankle support other than the laces. Our biggest criticism was that after a few months of heavy use, the bottom of the outsole began to peel, which caused us to trip once in a while in the ring.

We appreciated the Honeycomb mesh design of the body of the shoes, which made them breathable and durable. Some mesh-body shoes tend to rip or come apart after many hours of twisting and lateral movement.
We also loved the arch support of the ergonomic insole, which made them even more comfortable to wear. If you have flat feet, you’ll be glad for this feature.
Since these shoes are mid-cut, they offered excellent ankle support even after the most demanding lateral movements. Even though the shoes are finished with a stylish leather overlay, they were still light and kept our feet moving in the ring.
While these shoes boast their high-grip rubber outsole, we found that these shoes had too much grip for our liking. However, if you want to make slipping impossible in the ring, these shoes may be perfect for you.

The Hayabusa Pro Boxing Shoes are loved by professional and amateur boxers alike, and for good reason.
While these are slightly heavier than others, it wasn’t noticeable at all. These shoes let us stay light on our feet and grounded to the floor at the same time. We appreciated the treaded rubber sole that allowed us to pivot easily when we threw crosses or hooks.
We also loved the sturdy mid-height build that provided us with solid ankle support, as well as the detailed mesh body that kept our feet comfortable and cool during intense sparring sessions.
Our biggest criticism of this pair of shoes is that it may be too expensive for beginners. However, if you’re willing to pay a bit more for the unmatched quality, it’s worth it.

This pair of boxing shoes is suited for any level of boxer, professional or amateur.
We appreciated how the high-top design combined with the ankle strap gave us a secure fit; there was no chance that we would twist an ankle in the ring. We also loved how the open weave mesh kept the shoes light and breathable. For high-tops, we were surprised at how light these were.
For the soles, Everlast collaborated with world-famous tiremakers Michelin, and the quality showed. These soles were super responsive, even when compared to the more expensive, high-performance shoes on the market.
We still find ourselves returning to these shoes during training; the mesh material of the body and the Michelin sole has held up after all this time.
